THE WEATHER IS CHANGING

It’s almost time for us to go indoors.

October is our final month of outdoor programming at Glenview for 2026 season, and we’re making it count.

 OCTOBER'S SCHEDULE

🎾 Wednesdays | Pay What You Can Clinics

Our Wednesday clinics give players an opportunity to get on the court without letting cost be the reason they stay home.

🎾 October 12 | Tennis Mixer

Come play, meet new people, and experience the community we’re building one court at a time.

🎃 Halloween Tennis Mixer

We’re closing out the outdoor season with tennis, costumes, and a little Halloween fun. Bring your game—and your best costume.

TIME TO MOVE YOUR BODY

October is Health Literacy & Breast Cancer Awareness Month

 What the research tells us:

  • - 12–21% lower breast cancer risk — Higher levels of physical activity are

  • associated with a lower risk of breast cancer. (National Cancer Institute)

  • - Racquet sports matter — A study of 80,000+ adults found racquet sports

  • were associated with lower risks of cardiovascular and all-cause mortality.

  • (British Journal of Sports Medicine)

  • - 2.5 – 5 hours weekly — Adults are encouraged to get this amount of

  • moderate physical activity. (American Cancer Society)

  • - More than breast health — Regular movement supports heart health,

  • stronger bones and muscles, mental well-being, and chronic disease prevention.

MEMPHIS WE NEED YOU

We need donations!

This October, we’re challenging Memphis to show up for us in making tennis and wellness more accessible.

We are looking for 1000 Memphians to donate $5.

Your $5 helps us refresh aging equipment to remain mobile, reduce financial barriers so everyone can move, and support the programs in 2027 season so programs can be free or extremely low cost. 2027 Programs we're fund raising for:

🎾 Blind Tennis

🎾 Pay What You Can

🎾 The Tennis Lab (Summer Camp)

This isn’t just about raising $5,000. It's about creating more ways for Memphis to get on court. Give $5 and share the challenge. Even if they don't donate we are spreading the word about who we are and our mission.

One person giving $5 is a donation. 1000 people giving $5 is Memphis showing up.

WILL YOU BE ONE OF OUR 1000?
